Early Mornings

At the Gryffindor-table Freya yawned before taking a bite out of her sandwich and slowly chewing. Curse this late-night Astronomy! Why did they place that kind of thing last on a Friday? And why was she up at normal time anyway?! Not bothering with stupid questions she got her arms on the table and her head on top of them. This was comfortable enough right now…

And soon she was asleep next to her breakfast…

At the Ravenclaw-table Claudia could not really understand why so many slept so late on the weekends; didn’t they know it was important to keep to the daily schedule, always?

Oh well, she could not linger here for too long anyway. Next to her was a carefully wrapped box, topped with a white bow. It might be a quite stilly excuse to say that it was a late names day-present when the one receiving the gift had their names day in June, but it was true that she had missed it back then! And now when she had found this in Hogsmeade she just had to make sure he would accept it!

Yawning, Marik took his seat at the Gryffindor table, rubbing his eyes and almost getting some strawberry jam on the book that he carried with him everywhere. Sure, it was better to get all homework done before it was due, but was it worth staying up for until 2 in the morning?

Sometimes. It means he'd have more time to read his books in the library.

But he shook his head, he needed to stay awake!
